About the Event
East Portlemouth has been an important place for the Grimes family for generations and has become much beloved by the McGraths as well. Both families welcome you to join them join with the marriage of Lucy and Dan on the 30th August 2025.
The village is a beautiful, remote destination with amazing beaches. It will probably take a little planning for those of you able to make it in terms of travel and accomodation so we recommend you have a look at our recommendations on the website and book somewhere to stay ASAP. Please avoid staying in Salcombe.
The venue can be reached by public transport and car. If you're travelling by train, the nearest station is Totnes, which is approximately 13 miles away. From there, you can take a taxi directly to the venue or a bus to Salcombe, then ferry to East Portlemouth. If you're driving, there will be parking available at the Village Hall.
Please let us know when/if you have booked somewhere to stay as we are considering arranging a to-and-fro shuttle bus for people in nearby villages.
